About Me

Sport, dance and fitness have always been a big part of my life. Not only to keep me fit and healthy physically, but mentally too - it is how I relax and have fun.

When I had my two children (now aged 8 and 6) I found it hard to exercise in the way I used to, which made me reassess how I could continue to keep fit and healthy. This led me to explore and enjoy different training styles that fit around my life as a working mum and the changes to my body after children.

In 2015 I decided to change careers from 13 years in the civil service to working in the fitness industry. I am especially passionate about women’s fitness and how we can best incorporate exercise into the many stages of a woman’s life from pre-natal to post-natal and beyond. I want no part in body shaming.

The most important thing is that you are happy and confident in yourself and fit for the demands of your life. There is no such thing as perfection, only progress. I want your body to work for you - my mantra is fitter, healthier, happier!

Having spent many years in Whitehall, often juggling work with looking after small children and managing a household, I understand how hard it can be to feel motivated and to fit in activities which will benefit our health both physically and mentally.  I have been through the frustrations of not knowing how I can possibly take the time to think about myself - my nutritional needs and exercising - with commitments to small children and work.

I’ve had first hand experience of baby-weight gain and post-pregnancy pelvic pain. I threw out most of my pre-pregnancy clothes in frustration that I’d never fit into them again, only to find that with the right exercise and nutrition I lost all that weight and more. I have to train smart – I don’t have the time not to – and I understand that your time is limited and we have to find the right approach to exercise for your lifestyle.

I believe in challenging myself through my training and enjoy seeing the results that can be achieved by setting realistic exercise and nutrition goals and working hard to achieve them. I also understand how a woman's approach to exercise and wellness needs to evolve as she enters different life phases. Hence the wonderful range of Holistic Core Restore® programmes I offer which really do offer something for every woman.

Most of all I believe your sessions with me should be something you look forward to. It should be fun and leave you invigorated and not necessarily exhausted (most women manage this state perfectly by themselves!)
